Mindset Magic For Manifesting Positive Life Change

Our memories of the past can often be what inspire and help us learn what we want for our present and future. Today I snowshoed to Rawson Lake, Kanansksis Country, as seen in the photo. It was my very first real introduction to hiking in the mountains, thanks to a wonderful friend taking me there. What a gem of a lake, hidden high up in a mountain range. I thought I was going to die on the way up there! But it opened up a whole new world of hiking possibilities for me, and there began a new, healthier mindset on life.

The past can also be not so nice to remember. In fact, it can be pretty brutal and hard to forget. Living in the past may be caused by significant traumatic experiences, and memories that are hard to shake. You may have watched a loved one die, or never got to say goodbye! It may have been a bad memory from your childhood. These are all very legitimate reasons to be “stuck” in the past. These life events are major, and not easy to forget. Sometimes we just never get over it, and some things are not meant for us to “get over”.

Moving On With the Right Mindset

If we want to move on from these past situations, we must have the right mindset for moving from pain, difficulties, and set-backs to positive steps forward. We can rise above these old energies into a more positive way of being, and it doesn’t have to be difficult.

I like to think of it as making small, yet magical shifts in our perspectives, thoughts, words, and deeds. When we rely on the powers of our magical 3rd eye of intuition and the messages we receive from our physical bodies, we rise above!

Here are some magical tips on improving your mindset to make sure you’re manifesting a life of positive change:

Mindset Magic Tip 1: Take some time for silent, healthy self-reflection

Take a breather for a while and pause to contemplate your current life and your feelings around that. What might your life look like if you did something differently? How might you feel? Imagine yourself in that scenario and notice the sensations in your body. They will guide you, as they are the voice of your intuition trying to speak to you! When we take actions guided by our inner voice, we free up space for a happier and more authentic life!

Tip 2: Let go of your ghosts

Focus on the present moments – Focus on that beautiful butterfly, the soft fur of your dog, the breeze cleansing your spirit, the trees glistening in the sun, or the reflection off the water. Take in the beauty of nature and realize the miracles right in front of you.

Holding onto your past ghosts is not serving your progress forwards. But how can you move on when you’re stuck in your feelings? The trick is to get yourself unstuck!

The way you do that is by allowing your feelings to flow through you like water. You feel them, you notice them, and like a river, they flow right on out of you. It can take some time, no doubt. But imagine the feelings as a river and watch them flow in and out of you. Physically feel the movement of your feelings through your body like a wave! Notice the thoughts in your mind as if they were clouds rolling by, and eventually you will get unstuck!

You can’t undo or re-create the past, no matter how hard you try or wish you could. What you can do is to make the present day the best. Live each day as if it was your last. You will have less time to think about the past if you actively focus on the present.

If you are too fixated on previous negative events, there will be no room for positivity. You must make a choice – Will you continue hurting and torturing yourself, or will you embrace the new day filled with joy?

Mindset Magic Tip 3: Decide that you’re going to manifest positive change

To make things work, you need to commit yourself to “move on”, “let it go”, and let it flow out of you like the river. If you don’t, your mind will continue its endless circles of misery, and you could end up getting stuck again. Make a decision that will empower you and your future, commit to it, and take action! The Universe will listen, and do everything it can to support your progress forward.

Tip 4: Forgive yourself and others

It may be hard to forget what has happened in the past and how someone may have treated you. Getting past resentment and forgiving others is a vital, healing step. More importantly, you must acknowledge your part in what happened in the past, and forgive yourself too, even if you feel you did nothing wrong.

Remember that forgiving doesn’t necessarily mean you agree with what happened. You can just recognize that someone wronged you in some way, and forgive them anyway. It’s not a sign of weakness if you do so. It’s confirmation that you want to move on with your life, and welcome the joys of the present moments, so you can create that brighter future for yourself.

Mindset Magic Tip 5: Physically distance yourself from those who don’t support your new path

Don’t keep yourself attached to people or environments that keep you trapped in your current circumstances and mindset. For your emotional health, you can distance yourself from a situation or individual that is causing you grief. This distance, in whatever form, can help with the “letting go” process since you’re not being constantly reminded of things that hinder your progress.

Tip 6: Accept your past

Accepting your past experiences, and the people who have been a part of it, will help you in moving on. Your past doesn’t define who you are. Practice acceptance, re-create yourself, and set yourself free like a bird in the wind!

Mindset Magic Tip 7: Be accountable for your own happiness

Your feelings are in your control – You can’t blame anyone or anything else for them. If you do, you’re allowing someone or something to control you, at least emotionally. You will feel a huge sense of empowerment once you take responsibility for your feelings and emotions.

Tip 8: Assess your emotions

When assessing the quality of your emotions, you need to know what they are attracting in your life. Do you have happy, positive thoughts? Or are they negative? If they adversely affect your present moments, don’t dwell on them. Instead, replace them with more positive thoughts so you can manifest more positivity.

Mindset Magic Tip 9: Give and be kind

Helping others can make you feel warm and happy on the inside. It is one of the best ways to align with who you really are. Brighten another’s day by offering a smile (even under your mask!), saying a simple hello, or making a donation. These simple acts of kindness can help shine your inner light, and can have a lasting impact on others. It will make you feel good inside too!

Hopefully these tips will help you with getting unstuck, moving forward in positive change, and manifesting the happy life you deserve. Any effort you make will be worth it!
