This post is about how to raise your energy vibration after burnout. I had a wonderful vacation, feeling very blessed to have had the opportunity to hike over 100km along the Juan de Fuca Marine trail, and other trails in the vicinity. It was also great to reconnect with some old friends I haven’t seen in years. I came home feeling invigorated and happy that everything went so perfectly. I wanted this feeling to continue, so I saw a few more friends and family upon my return, doing more physical and social activity. For me, that’s a lot!

Being the strong introvert that I am, I needed some serious down-time to recharge my batteries before heading into the swamp at work! I was exhausted, and needed a vacation from my vacation! I’ve been able to relax and recharge since then, so I wanted to share with you how to raise your energy vibration when you’re feeling exhausted like this!

What Kind of Exhausted Are You?

When figuring out what to do about your burnout, it’s a good idea to just identify what kind of exhaustion you are feeling. Have you been working too hard? Exerting yourself physically too much? Been overly busy? Too many social activities? Stressed about money, jobs, or relationships? All of the above?

There’s a burnout that can come from working too hard, and a burnout that results from having too much fun! Either way, just knowing the source of your depleted batteries can help you figure out what you need to do to calm your nervous system.

How To Raise Your Energy Vibration By Creating More Space

Yes, the secret is SPACE. When we’re feeling burnt out or depleted, it’s a good time create more space in your mind, body, and spirit. Even taking some physical space from others will help create space within. This will automatically raise your energetic vibration. You will feel it, as will those around you. You can do this in a variety of ways…

Wake Up Earlier

Don’t like the sound of that? I’ve never been a morning person either, except when I’m on vacation and want to see all I can see in the amount of time I have! On my most recent vacation, I was getting up at 4-6:30AM every morning. This isn’t something I normally do! In order to do that, I had to go to bed earlier at 8:30PM!

That may seem difficult, but once the sun was down, and I was relaxed in my tiny home, it wasn’t hard. I needed to be at trailheads early in order to get a parking spot and avoid the crowds. Waking up early creates so much extra time and space. This teaches you how to raise your energy vibration.

So Much To Love About Early Mornings

I started loving the mornings because there was a gorgeous fog over the ocean, and the sunlight shining through it cast incredible beams of light. Also, there was no traffic in the early mornings! I had the road practically all to myself. No people swarming the beaches when I arrived. Just a simple, morning stillness, peace, and calm that you can’t get later in the day when all the people arrive. I may become a morning person yet!

You can also get a lot done and be more productive in the early mornings before the kids wake up, or before rushing off to work. When you give yourself more time, you can breathe easy, eat breakfast, and drink your coffee at a comfortable pace.

When you’re not rushed, you create a peaceful space within, which is the ideal way to start your day. You bring that peaceful sense of calm into your entire day. If you’re stressed out and rushing in the morning, it’s likely your day will turn out much the same way. You’ll get snarled up in a traffic jam, be upset, and so on.

Give yourself that extra time and space and you will learn how to raise your energy vibration. I learned that getting up even 15 minutes earlier than my usual time for work has made all the difference in the world to my state of calm in the morning.

Get Outside Into Nature

In the mornings, the traffic, people, and noises of the day haven’t started yet, so it’s a perfect time to get out into nature. What a great way to start the morning, watching and listening to the ocean waves, like at French Beach in the photo above! Maybe you’ll be lucky and spot some Orcas while you’re at it!

If you aren’t near an ocean, you can just take pause to notice nature on a morning walk through your neighbourhood. Maybe you notice the dew on the grass and leaves. Can you see the sunlight shining through a spider’s web? Are you wondering what the birds are chirping about? Have you really paused to watch a sunrise? Are you enjoying the red and orange colours painted in the sky in their different hues? Early mornings can be quite amazing, and I have spotted a lot more wildlife! Any wildlife is a beautiful gift to see in the new space you have created for yourself!

The Power of Gratitude

Speaking of gifts, instead of waking up early with a groan and resistance, how about making your first thought one of gratitude for the fact that you woke up to this precious life? Start practicing this as you wake up. Let the first thought be something you feel grateful for. When you do that, you create a good vibe that can last throughout your entire day.

If you start with a miserable thought, it’s very likely the rest of your day will feel miserable. We all want to feel more joy. So be joyful by appreciating every moment, and being grateful for all your blessings. Gratitude creates space and raises your vibe!

How To Raise Your Energetic Vibration Through Meditation

While early mornings are perfect for meditation, my favourite time to meditate is in the dark of night. Once everything and everyone settle down for the evening, it’s calm and quiet again. Meditation, especially silent, can really soothe and calm the nerves and stress that may have accumulated during the day.

If you prefer sound meditation through drums, gongs, crystal bowls, or meditative music, then do what works for you best. I love meditative sounds as much as the silence! It really works to creates space in your mind, heart, and spirit.

How To Raise Your Energy Vibration By Loving Your Routines

Once you get into a routine of a regular meditation practice, and all the ways to create space mentioned above, you will start to feel better in so many ways. You’ll feel a new energy rising up in your entire being. Routines are important to have because they calm your nervous system.

When I’m feeling frazzled, I like to do laundry, dishes, and even take out the garbage. What am I doing? I’m clearing the space! Likewise, I like to meditate silently to calm my mind and nerves if I feel there’s too much chatter or noise. Going for walks to take a break from work and get a breath of fresh air or sunlight on my skin is another great routine.

You may think routines are boring! Well, if you feel that way, it’s a good practice to try and find something new along your usual walking or driving route. Practice noticing new things, and finding beauty in your familiar surroundings and activities. Routines are great for easing feelings of exhaustion or burnout. They make us feel more grounded, balanced, and stable.

Similarly, you may feel that routines, plans, and structure will stifle your creative flow. In fact, these can all enhance your creative abilities! That’s because once again, they create a spaciousness within. They clear your mind as you engage in these routine tasks.

Space leads to some beautiful creative moments and inspiration. Find joy in your usual routines that have become dull by opening all your senses to the present moment and seeing things differently.

Raising Your Energetic Vibration By Doing One Thing At a Time

You can be more creative and inspired when you create time and space in your life for things like meditation and being present. Also, you can be more productive when you focus on one thing a time. I know you may enjoy and pride yourself on being a multi-tasker, but settling yourself into a single activity can create a neutral space within where you can raise your energy, and leave your burnout behind.

For instance, when you write a blog post, focus on only that, not getting distracted by social media, or the music playing. “Walk when your feet say walk”, and clear your mind space while you do it. This is how to live in the present moment. You’ll discover you find more joy in mundane activities and chores, and that you get way more accomplished.

From Exhaustion To Calm, Cool, and Collected

I hope this gives you a sense of how important it is to stay mindful in your life, and ways you can do that to increase your energy after burnout. It will only make you ill if you continue to work, or even play tirelessly, so remember to take the time to settle the nervous system and recalibrate so you can come back strong, fresh, calm, cool, and collected.
